R6A - Cleric Employment Visa

               



Visa

The R6A Cleric Employment/Work Visa is a Multiple Entry Temporary Residence Visa (TRV) for foreign Cleric employed in a religious organization based in Nigeria. This two-year renewable visa introduced in the Nigeria Visa Policy 2020 is only obtainable through the Nigerian Mission : Embassy, High Commission or Consulate.

Eligibility

Only foreign cleric who already secured related employment in Nigeria.

Requirements

  • Employment Letter/Offer/Contract from relevant Religious Body
  • Formal R6A Application by the Employer to the CGI
    (Must indicate Acceptance of Immigration Responsibilities) 
  • Educational Qualification(s) with Attestation of the original copy(s)  
    (Duly attested by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and/or Education Ministry of Applicant’s country) 
  • Curriculum Vitae in English language

 

  • Travel Document valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages
  • Printout of completed Online Visa Application form.
  • Printout of the Online Payment Acknowledgement slip. 
  • Two (2) recent Passport sized (35/40mm) Photograph.

  • Any other requirement of the Nigeria Consular Mission.

The period between the date visa is issued and when applicant can enter Nigeria.
