In the Nigeria Visa Policy (NVP) 2020, this range of 90-day visit to 5-year residence visas exist in two visa categories: Short Visit Visas (SVVs) and Permanent Residence Visas (PRVs). Perculiar to the specific visa class, the business or investor visa is obtainable through all approved visa channels : eVisa System, Visa On Arrival (VoA) and through the Nigerian Consular Missions or Visa Application Centers.

 

 

Criteria

The Business and Investor Visa category range is recommended for business travelers, investors and other foreigners looking to do business, especially the types of businesses that bring capital into Nigeria. The business visa applies to foreign adults who wish to visit Nigeria for the purpose of attending business meeting, conference, seminar, contract negotiation, marketing, sales, purchase and exportation of Nigerian goods, and attend or conduct trade fairs. Business investors may apply for investor visa or residence permit. Business Visas are available to most national passport holders.

Note: Under the new Nigerian Visa Policy 2020, The Business and Investor Visa classes exist in two of the three visa categories: Short Visit Visa (SVV) and Permanent Residence Permit (PRV). The Business / Investor Visa is obtainable in most Nigerian Consular Missions around the world. Applicant may be invited to the Nigerian Embassy, High Commission, Consulate or Visa Application Center (VAC) for interview if necessary.
