Eligibility

Only foreign expat who has been employed in any of the Federal, State, or Local Government Departments of Nigeria. This visa may also apply to foreign technical experts working with the Nigerian Government, as well as non-Diplomatic representatives of a foreign country working hand-in-hand with the Nigerian Government in long-term pursuit of bilateral ties with Nigeria.

Requirements

• Government Employment Letter/Offer/Contract Terms to the Applicant.  
  (Signed and Stamped/Sealed by the highest official of that department)
• Formal R3A Application by the Employing Government Office to the CGI
  (Must indicate Acceptance of Immigration Responsibilities) 
• Letter/Note of Acceptance of Employment by the Applicant 
• Educational Qualification(s) with Attestation of the original copy(s)  
  (Duly attested by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and/or Education Ministry of Applicant’s country) 
• Curriculum Vitae in English language

 

• Travel Document valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages
• Printout of completed Online Visa Application form.
• Printout of the Online Payment Acknowledgement slip. 
• Two (2) recent Passport sized (35/40mm) Photograph.


• Any other requirement of the Nigeria Consular Mission.
