The F7A Journalist Visa is a one-time entry Short Visit Visa (SVV) suitable for reporter who intends to carry-out short-term journalism duties in Nigeria. This 90-day visa was re-introduced in the Nigeria Visa Policy 2020 and is obtainable through the Nigeria Mission abroad (Embassy, High Commision or Consulate) or through the e-Visa system that is only available to certain nationalities at this time.

  • Content Creator wishing to cover Nigeria
  • Documentary Producer 
  • Media Practitioner 

Requirements

  • Clearance from the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Information and Culture
  • Evidence of Return Flight Ticket
  • Evidence of Reserved Accommodation in Nigeria 
  • Evidence of Sufficient Funds or Means of Sustenance
  • Travel Document valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages
  • Printout of completed Online Visa Application form.
  • Printout of the Online Payment Acknowledgement slip. 
  • Two (2) recent Passport sized (35/40mm) Photograph.
