The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Vienna wishes to inform the General Public that due to the prevalence of Covid-19 pandemic and for the purpose of compliance with the new measures announced by the Austrian Government, and to safeguard Public Health, the following protocols are to be observed with effect from 17th November 2020 for the safety of Staff Members and the general public.

Opening hours for the following services: 

Consular services : 10:00am - 2:00pm on Thursdays only. 

Passport and Visas: 10:00am - 1:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. 

Application for Consular Services: 

• a. Applicants for consular matters would be admissible only by appointment. To book an appointment, applicants are required to contact the Consular section on telephone number +43 1 712 66 86 206 and obtain confirmations of appointments, beforehand.  


• b. Applicants for Passport Services and Visa services would be admissible only by appointment. To book appointments, applicants are required to contact the visa section on telephone number +43 664 439 5833 or +43 1 712 66 86 203 and obtain confirmations of appointments accordingly, beforehand. 

While counting on the cooperation of the general public, applicants are advised to be punctual on their dates of appointment, and arrive the Embassy only at the time of appointment. There shall be no admittance without appointment. Loitering is prohibited and the use of face masks and maintainance of physical distance is compulsory.
