Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Ouagadougou was established to enhance bilateral relations between Nigeria and Burkina Faso. The two African countries have since grown steadily in trade and mutual economic development. The mission also handles all diplomatic and consular affairs.

As both Nigeria and Burkina Faso are members of the Economic Communities of West African States (ECOWAS), visa is not required for our citizens traveling to each others' country. However, foreigniers who live in Burkina Faso can apply for visa to Nigeria through the Embassy of Nigeria in Ouagadougou.
