Embassy of Nigeria, Cotonou
Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Cotonou was established to enhance bilateral relations between Nigeria and Benin Republic. The two neighbouring African countries have since grown steadily in trade and mutual economic development. The Nigeria Embassy handles all diplomatic and consular affairs.

As both Nigeria and Benin are members of the Economic Communities of West African States (ECOWAS), visa is not required for our citizens traveling to each others' country. However, foreigniers who live in Benin can apply for visa to Nigeria through the Embassy of Nigeria in Cotonou.
