Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Hong Kong S.A.R used to be the High Commission. The mission representation was converted after Hong Kong was returned to China in 1997. However, the mission's responsibilities remains to improve economic and trade relations between Nigeria and Hong Kong, China, as well as render consular services to Nigerians and foreigners alike.

20th July, 2020 - Public Notice:

This is to notify that, with effect from today Monday 20th July, 2020 the Nigerian Consulate General, Hong Kong will be closed, working from home in line with guidelines of the Hong Kong SAR government on reported increased incidences of COVID-19. This measure is taken to curb exposure of all staff of the mission to the virus outbreak and to minimize officials contact in discharge of duties.

To this end, the office will attend to urgent cases and requiring urgent attention on Wednesdays from 11am to 2pm. Underlisted contact are provided for guidance:-
