Mr Wepke Kingma, Special Envoy for the Conference on the Future of Europe and former Netherlands Ambassador, to the Federal Republic of Germany, paid a visit to the Chancery, today. He was warmly received by H.E Dr. Eniola Ajayi, Minister Plenipotentiary, Ambassador Oluremi Oliyide and Head of Chancery/Senior Counselor, Mr Olufemi Olonijolu. 

The Conference on the Future of Europe is a European Union (EU) initiative that provides opportunity for European citizens to debate on Europe’s challenges and priorities. 

At the fore of the interaction and discussions during his visit was Mr Wepke Kingma's candidature for the position of the Secretary General to the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), maintaining world peace, amicable dispute resolution/peaceful dialogues and maintaining mutually beneficial relations.
